Hanwen Wang’s Personal Website

Welcome!

I am Hanwen Wang (王瀚文) and I am a final year PhD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, Applied Mathematics and Computational Science (AMCS) program. Over the past 6 years I have been fortunate enough to be advised by Prof. Paris Perdikaris, working on the intersection of Computer Vision (CV), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Scientific Machine Learing (Sci-ML).

I received my Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Mathematics from the Wake Forest University in 2019, in the North Carolina suburbs. Afterward I moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to continue my study for the AMCS master’s program, and eventually its PhD program.

I am grateful for the 7 years spent at Penn, and am ready to move onto my career path. My interest lies in designing fast and efficient small scale architectures for specialized applications, whether in the field of fluid dynamics or quantitative finance.
